Chris Winward My Brothers and Me. My grandfather Joe McGinley (F/501 PIR, 101st Airborne) was a paratrooper in WWII. He jumped into Market Garden on September 17th, 1944. He fought until January 6th, when he was hit by a shell in the Battle of the Bulge, and sent home with a Purple Heart.  Guy Anhorn, a Vietnam Veteran, made a documentary about my grandfather’s service. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHKRJogUv-Q Guy asked me to help him and his brother Thomas Anhorn write a song for the documentary.   They flew to Nashville and we wrote and recorded this song. Cory “City” Fandel In My Life "Featuring Faith Hahn"

Cory’s uncle, John Basilone was one of the most decorated and a legend amongst Marines from WWll.  He won both the Medal of Honor and the Navy Cross for his bravery under fire. John was from Raritan, NJ and every year they have a parade in his honor. There is also a statue of him in the town. This guy was the real deal.
