Great CD . . . some really excellent moments on it. My favorite is "Imagine A Better World". That fade out at the end is one of the “great moments” in pop music! "Apple Of My Eye" was also excellent and a bonus since Badfinger's always been one of my favorite bands. Thanks again for the terrific service and a very good record (if you can still call them that!).

I was out of town (a biochemistry meeting) and, to my surprise, when I arrived home yesterday, the Lon & Derrek “Black & White” CD was there!!! Listened to it three times already, it's a great album, Ringo opening the show, then a beautiful rendition of “Apple of my Eye” with very Harrison-like guitar, a country flavored “Black & White”; “Living a Dream” with some nice guitar . . . very sixties, love it . . .this is my first CD from Lon & Derrek (never got their first albums) . . . Some songs have the flavor of old Badfinger stuff like “Heart of Stone”, some sounds nostalgic bittersweet like “Something in Sadness”, hey you have even some technostuff like “If You Think” . . . or some Lennon . . . in “Imagine a Better World”! “..All we are saying .... Imagine....” sounds like a nice collage/tribute to John. “Solution” is a powerful song -- pity it is too short. . . and of course “Getting Better” (hey, aren't we all Beatles fans after all?). . . . I'm no music critic but it's a great CD, IT’S GREAT!!! Just listening right now to “Something In Sadness”, it is so nostalgic . . . the blend of all these different singers/bands sounds makes this CD unique. Do me a favor will you? Re-relaese all the other albums by Lon & Derrek! If they are as good as this one, I'll be REALLY happy to have them in my collection. Congrats!!
